UKCA is the UK Conformity Assessment document. It is a new product assurance document that will be required for certain products placed on the market in England, Wales and Scotland as a result of the UK leaving the European Union. It covers many products that previously required CE certification.

The UKCA certificate will not be recognized in the European Union market. Products that require a CE certificate will still need to have a CE certificate to be sold in the EU. From 1 January 2022, only UKCA certified products will be accepted in the UK.
